Yes, each one of the four
(4) reagent containers can be removed, sealed
and replaced at any time between processes. Additional
containers can store reagents for other protocols.
Each container will hold approximately 250 ml of reagent. That volume will stain
up to 2000 slides. When necessary, the reagent in the container can be filtered
and replenished, or disposed of.
The Poly Stainer can accommodate both routine batch operation and STAT requirements.
The instrument is always ready. Just keep the reagents in place and covered
when not in use. Take the covers off when a STAT comes in and the unit is ready
for immediate use.
