Over the past several years we have worked with literally hundreds of customers, providing solutions to various needs from something as mundane as vortexing, to much more complicated robotic colony counting applications. We greatly value the strong relationships we build with our customers and it is very rewarding when our existing customers give us the opportunity to provide new solutions.

        Two years ago Schoolcraft College, a progressive institution in Michigan, found us on the internet. They were building a new Biomedical Technology Center and were shopping to equip the labs. Initial interest in 1 piece of equipment evolved into several additional products, and over the 2 years we defined requirements, made recommendations and provided demonstrator equipment where needed.

         " The PS20 has helped us in several ways. We run 250 students through our general microbiology course each semester. Prep room space is always at a premium.  Previously we poured our plates in the conventional manner and let them air cool. This took approximately 30 feet of counter space.   We also experienced contamination problems with inexperienced technicians, who left plate lids off too long.  The PS20 allows the same amount of plates to be made with about 10 feet of counter space. We save time repackaging our agar filled plates because the plates are automatically stacked by the instrument.

          " The greatest benefit of the LabFlame is safety.  We no longer have to worry about a burner that has been left burning or one that has an undetected gas leak. The IR start and stop  solves these issues. We also don't have to worry about flint strikers, matches, and gas clouds forming as students attempt to light the burners... it is my belief that once they are fully integrated into our lab, no one will want to go back to the manual burners..."
