ScanSpeed MiniVac Alpha

This system offers rapid, efficient, reproducible user and environmentally friendly vacuum concentration and drying of DNA/RNA samples, while maintaining sample integrity.

ScanSpeed MiniVac Alpha is a compact, economical and environmentally friendly vacuum concentrator, a complete system ideal for concentration of 48 ml×1.5-2.0 ml and 76 x 0.5 ml tubes.

Easy to use automatic system:
Includes timer, start stop function, vacuum pump, adjustable chamber temperature 5-85 ºC, digital read out of vacuum down to 1 mBar.

Supplied complete with the maintenance-free VacSafe 15, a self contained water jet pump that collects any expelled vapors and condensates reaching 20 mBar, DC drip catcher and Ice cube container unit and all connectors, hoses, clips and multi purpose rotor for 48 mL×1.5-2.0 ml or 76 x 0.5 ml tubes. The only requirement is to empty the DC of any carried over liquid and to change the water in the VacSafe 15 on a weekly basis. Performance can be improved even further by adding ice cubes around the drip catcher to increase the speed of evaporation.
